This and That

Jay had these beautiful yellow daisies delivered to me at work. So pretty!

Finished another lap quilt last night. I quilted the basketweave into it. Yes, it does have little round sparkly dots on it. No clue what they are called but they add some sparkle/shimmer to it. My mom might know the name of them.

I plan to give it to a dear friend as a surprise.

Apparently, Bullwinkle thinks every quilt is his. I had it placed on the floor to get ready to cut off the edges and he wandered up and sniffed it, then turned around a couple times and sank down. ?? (yes, i know he needs a haircut)

Chocolate Cheerios

Since Jay didn't have to drive his school bus route today (they cancelled - imagine that!) I asked him to pour me a bowl of cereal since I was running behind. I made sure to remind him that I eat a lot of cheerios. I round the corner to the kitchen and found this!!!!


It's a MIXING bowl!! I started laughing - what a goober! Of course I couldn't waste all those cheerios so I ate them.

Those are some of the answers I must give. So many people have been cruelly trying to trick me into giving them the name of our baby. So far (fingers crossed) we haven't slipped and let it out yet. :o) I still haven't purchased the vinyl lettering for above the crib yet either. Even if we did get it, we can't put it up - someone might sneak in just to learn the name!
