18 months Together

Our 18 month anniversary was this past Sunday. I thought I would do a post with all the quilts that I have done in those 18 months. This first one is just the quilt top of course, and the blue sampler I had put together (but not finished) before we were married. The rest of them were put together, and quilted after we said our vows. Senora, maybe I should open a quilt shop :o) ( I haven't started quilting the scrappy quilt yet. I found some neat blue and white materials so I am cutting out the pieces for that one now)

I guess I am getting old....

It seems like every blog I go to, my friends are announcing they are having a kid. I guess when one gets to be my age they are expected to be having kids. Sorry, Dad, just cause everyone else is having one......
I thought about for April Fool's putting an announcement on here, but that would just be way too cruel. Funny, but cruel.
On the other hand, one of my fave blogs to check is Whispering Brooke. Lyn and her husband are adopting a little girl and she is the cutest thing. Check her blog out if you get a chance. (Lyn and I played volleyball together in highschool.)
(After I posted this, I thought folks might think this subject was what had been on my mind lately. Absolutely not :o)

Sigh....

.....I normally post a lot more than I have been lately but I have had a lot on my mind. I still check the blogs on my link list all the time, but I don't feel like blogging. I will just throw some pics on here.

Boys and their Toys

Jay is such a "gadget" type of guy. He is really into the NCAA games so he set up the living room as his own personal theatre. The little TV has CBS's Arkansas v. Indiana game, and projected up on the living room wall is the Louisville v. Boise State game (which is streaming from the internet via his laptop sitting down by my quilt ladder.) Plus I am watching a game on my laptop via the internet. Technically we could have a fourth game streaming from Jay's computer but I think that might be a little overboard :o) He has the sound from the TV and the laptop wired into the surround sound so he can switch between sound on the games also. Yeah, he is slightly goofy!

Easter Roses

Jay had 2 dozen roses delivered to the jail for Easter. How sweet!
