Quilting Post

Step 1 - Have your strong hubby move the kitchen table into family room. Turn on a documentary and set up your supplies.

Step 2 - Put two squares pattern side together. Drawn a line from corner to corner. Sew 1/4" from the line on each side.
Step 3 - Cut on the line creating two squares.
Step 4 - Open the squares - iron the squares open.
Step 5 - Sew squares until you can't sew anymore :o) 150 squares later....

I was way too tired to iron them so they are still sitting on the table just like this.

Another weekend!

So this might not look that great to you, but it's one of my favorite snacks. Warm homemade peanutbutter syrup poured over popcorn. Warm, gooey and sooo yummy! Very easy to make.

A great evening at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati. My aunt, uncle and cousins sang with Larnelle Harris. I really like Larnelle. He puts everything into his singing.

Going a little wild!

So I am probably setting up our little Irish girl to be a hippy wild child, but I loved this fabric! I just couldn't bring myself to do the traditional pink, purple and yellow baby rattle, bottle and teddy bear type quilt.

Someone else told me that I was going to freeze her brain with all the bright colors!

Girls Night Out!

Amy and me at my first hockey game - I had a hard time keeping track of the puck. I figured if I just watched the guys I could find it but so many of them were hitting each other against the glass it was hard for me to keep up!

The goofy crew - Sheree, Tara, Belinda, Amy and me.
