Longaberger, Quilts and a Rose

Using a couple new pieces of Longaberger pottery for Sunday dinner. Meatloaf and Cornmeal casserole. My mom gave me 4 Longaberger pottery pieces for Christmas.

Blocks for my "musical" quilt. The fabric was on sale at Joanns!

A rose delivered to the jail from my honey, "just because."

Don't you know the significance of a single yellow rose with baby's breath and greenery?!

LOL Somehow I thought you might comment on that one, Connie. I couldn't believe they had it on sale. I was pretty excited. Wait until you see the border ;o)

What are you talking about Dad? Yellow is for friendship!

The first block is my favorite! Love that!
By the way, Bob would be pleased to see your Sunday dinner...meatloaf is his favorite!

Yes, the first block is probably my favorite too. The quilt pattern called for a yellow diamond. I just don't think that a yellow diamond would look nearly as good as the burgundy does. You agree?

I don't think I would like the yellow either. The burgundy just looks so rich with the black. You did good!
