40 weeks 1 day

Just waitin'

I removed the pregnancy ticker from my blog because it was depressing me :o) I hope she comes this weekend but she might not. Also, something that bugs me is 'old' or 'out of date' stuf and I don't want her to come and that ticker still be on my blog. Weird, I know.

Next appointment isn't until Tuesday. Of course, what we really wanted, was for her to come on St. Patricks day. An Irish baby, with an Irish name born on March 17 - how cool would that have been ?

Anyway, hopefully will get to meet her sometime this coming week.

The oven....

So they always talk about the baby baking in the oven. What happens if I think she's been in too long? We don't want her to get burnt right?

Sigh....you should see me try to get out of a chair. It's like my Grandma used to do it, scoot to the edge and lift yourself up with your arms. Sad really.

38 week and counting...

The overwhelming amount of gifts received at my baby showers. Thanks to all who gave us things for our nursery and our little one.

The CUTEST little dress - It's hard to tell how little it is - it says for 8-12 lbs on the tag. Super tiny but soo cute. My dad picked it out!

Thanks to my MOM - she organized this and did a lot of the decorations herself. Thanks to everyone who attended - I am overwhelmed with the gifts!

This and That

Jay had these beautiful yellow daisies delivered to me at work. So pretty!

Finished another lap quilt last night. I quilted the basketweave into it. Yes, it does have little round sparkly dots on it. No clue what they are called but they add some sparkle/shimmer to it. My mom might know the name of them.

I plan to give it to a dear friend as a surprise.

Apparently, Bullwinkle thinks every quilt is his. I had it placed on the floor to get ready to cut off the edges and he wandered up and sniffed it, then turned around a couple times and sank down. ?? (yes, i know he needs a haircut)
