Busy Weekend

We drove up to Indy to watch Kristen play her soccer game. First Church of the Nazarene in Indy has a soccer outreach on Saturdays. Aaron says sometimes they may have 500 kids show up. Her little pony tails were flopping away. How cute!

Jay and Aaron. Aaron is leaving for Guatemala shortly on a missions trip. I think the beard is to scare away any foreign bugs who might want to attack him!

Then on to Aunt Connie's 50th Birthday party. It was fun to see folks again and of course, talk!

Talk?! Oh, come on, no way. By the way, whoever is interested, next time on my blog we are remembering Dave H. and the CRAZY cat.

We fly into Guatemala City on Friday and spend a couple of days there building pre-fab churches out of steel. Then we go out into the country and erect these buildings. Our team is half construction and half medical with a doctor and a mess of nurses. This year we're going to be working out of Coban which should be rather cosmopolitian after a couple of very primitive trips. Hopefully hot water!

You would have to announce my age to the blog world!! Oh well, forgiven. Thanx sooo much for coming to the party. Could you send me the pic of your Mom and me? Somehow, I didn't get one.

Lol Aunt Connie, you know I love you, but I could hardly pass that up.

Thanks for answering ~d's question, Aaron!

yep, thanks aaron :) i've only flown into Guatemala city - not spent any time there. we usually go to Antigua and then to surrounding villages. the only excursion i've ever taken is to lake Atitlan - and it's just beautiful.
